Some months ago, I made the translation of the opensuse wiki in Romanian language. After submitting it, I was informed that the pages will be available in some weeks. Until now, I didn't saw my translation on the wiki.
The launch of the multi-language wiki has been delayed for several months due to technical reasons which are not in our control. I'm very sorry for this. We still have your translations, and are still planning to set up a Romanian openSUSE wiki instance. We'd be very glad if you are still interested in working on it when it will be ready.
Unfortunately, today I saw the translation of some pages, but not the ones made by me. What happened with them?
As the official localized wikis continue to be delayed, people from the community have started translating the current wiki without waiting for the separate instances for each language. I'm not happy that this was and still is necessary, but for now it seems to be the only way.
Obviously, the current translation was made with a translation program, if not all, a lot of parts. On good example is on the Download page: "Aici gasiti ceea ce presa scrie despre SUSE Linux" which can be translated to English: "Here you will find what the writes press about SUSE Linux"...
Feel free to correct pages with translation errors, or even remove them when they are mistranslated beyond any chance of being understood by a native speaker. You could also check the history of these pages and find out who did these translations. He or she is obviously interested in a Romanian version too, and you could work together.
