In the last two or three days a high amount of spam has been added to the wiki. Someone should ban the user and revert all the editions done and files uploaded.
I already blocked about 40 spamming users in the english wiki yesterday, which has stopped the spam attack for now. However, I did not delete all the spam pages - Special:Recentchanges shows that out of the last 2000 edits, > 1900 were spam :-/ No, I will not delete them manually.
In addition I'd like to know if it is possible to completely remove the user and the editions he has done from the history.
I already asked the admins to install the Nuke extension https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Nuke which allows mass-deletion. Regards, Christian Boltz -- Obvious question is who did it and why? Solution depends on reasons and source of change, we can add more left margin (or padding), or revert the change if it is not in a wiki software, or done by your boss :) [Rajko M. in opensuse-web] -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+owner@opensuse.org
