Andreas, 2010/1/12 Andreas Gruenbacher <agruen@suse.de>:
Hello,
[resent after subscribing]
Frank is telling me that e-mail notifications for changes in wiki pages are turned off on purpose.
This is unfortunate because I am really interested in all changes to a particular page, and checking the page or the watch list by hand all the time is not an option.
Also, in my preferences it says that e-mail notifications are enabled. If e- mail notifications are really turned off globally on purpose, then this is very misleading. (It took me quite a while to find out that I wasn't getting notified after all!)
Not sure about that particular issue. Frank, may you please provide the needed information?
By the way, en.opensuse.org and wiki.opensuse.org seem to be different wikis -- my preferences on them differ. How many different wikis instances are there?
As of the instances: We currently implement the Wiki Usability Concept at wiki.o.o - for details please have a look at http://en.opensuse.org/Transition_Guidelines That said, wiki.o.o just is an interims instance that'll replace en.o.o once the implementation of the Concept and the migrating of reviewed articles will be done. Best, R
