Hello,
We're new at this. We would like to translate the english to greek wiki so we'll have a presence to the community and use it to approach the new users. As I told before, we're new and we don't know how to start, what to do and who to contact about this issue. We were told to contact the wiki list and someone will help us.
Thanks to anyone who will help us.
You can start with reading http://languages.opensuse.org/Help:Translation It explains that you can start with a page in that wiki (language.opensuse.org) with the title "GR-Main_Page" which redirects to a page with the name "Greek-name-for-main-page", obviously in Greek characters. In this last page you copy the content of the text window on http://en.opensuse.org/index.php?title=Main_Page&action=edit and after that you translate that English text into Greek. Read further on the above mentioned Help page and start creating and translating the required pages listed there. After the GR-Main_Page you can start with Help:GR-Editing which redirects to Help:Editing-in-Greek-characters. It helps when you translate these Help pages first, because you learn a lot while translating them. Have a lot of fun... -- fr.gr.
