Hi Peter, This is my own initiative to work on openSUSE, as you can see by the working hours ;-) I have been contributing Linux information to the Swedish Linux community for a long time on different Swedish community sites. I've just moved some of my work to openSUSE, to make it localized and even better. Some of the SUSE related information in the swedish language is still more extensive on the Swedish community sites, and will continue to be that. I would love to make the Swedish pages at openSUSE to be maintained by more Swedish speaking people, so if there is any one else out there that would like to join us (Swedish translation team), please feel free to do so. Just some questions: 1. Is it possible to be redirected to a language specific page i.e. SV-xyz when the browser language matches the language code on the page and it has the same name? 2. There are some pages not having the translation template present at the english page. (i.e. Welcome page, SDB:SDB, How to participate, FAQs, and so on. Will it be added to the english page or is this a policy. 3. Is it ok to add the language template on pages like en:Using_Xgl_on_SUSE_Linux? All the best, Mikael Sundmark, msundmark at openSUSE

I have started translating pages on the openSUSE wiki for the Swedish language (SVUnder arbete....

I will also try and gather some more resources to help out with translation and adoption.

Just curious...are you doing Swedish in a private capacity, or is Novell doing a push to translate openSUSE in as many languages as possibly? Or is it a case of nobody gets fired at Novell for working on openSUSE even if it is not something you have been told to do? Peter 'Pflodo' Flodin
