i just put my reworked communicate page[1] live. The old one[2] was a mess. Can the language maintainers please update the communicate pages in their wiki? I agree with jdd that en.opensuse.org is more "international" than english - therefore I think it should list mailinglists, forums etc. in all languages.
Whats the point of having internationalized wikis then? If we have one big clumsy "international" wiki.
My perception is that en is really internationalized, and language wikis are more additional resource consisting of translations that should help people that don't speak english to familiarize themselves with openSUSE, as well as language/region specific stuff that is of no interest for the rest of the world.
At least there should be a link to "german mailinglists", "french mailinglists" etc.
(The other way round there would be complainments for sure - imagine the german maintainer says "the opensuse list is not german - I won't list it". Huh, no openSUSE mailinglists?)
There is no german openSUSE mailinglist in german. So there is no way of communicating about openSUSE on a mailinglist in german. Whats the point of pointing german only speaking people to a english mailinglist on a german webpage?
The german only speaking is only one category of german speaking. It might be significant, but there is a lot of people that use second language, so the link to english, french, spanish etc, content is for them. -- Regards, Rajko.
