I'm chasing down an intermittent dependency problems with NFS server startup on a Opensuse server.
It's not properly waiting for DNS resolution to be available -- exportfs fails as a result.
Adding a network-online.target dependency with a drop-in
cat /etc/systemd/system/nfsserver.service.d/wait.conf [Unit] Requires=network-online.target After=network-online.target
is not sufficient.
Reading online, related solutions for failed, not-yet-ready DNS resolution in NFS startup are to activate
This server's a wicked-only setup; I'm *not* running NetworkManager.
And, networkd* is not available in Opensuse.
What's the @Opensuse option for getting NFS to properly/consistently wait for DNS resolution over the network?
