[opensuse-web] Stage Wiki Upgrade to 1.19
The openSUSE wikis have been upgraded to MW 1.19.3 on stage. After I made a few minor changes to the bento theme it appears to be working well. Can we have some volunteers to help test? To access the staging sites, just append "stage" to the beginning part of the domain (e.g. enstage.opensuse.org or destage.opensuse.org). All languages are available on stage in this way. You can use the following credentials for the stage site if you wish to be test edits: Username: opensusestage Password: opensusestage! The code has also been checked into the openSUSE project on github, so any member of the web project who has access should be able to make necessary changes to the theme or extensions. Thank you, Matt

For me only some of them are not working. This has been already a problem for a few years. I also get a warning, hoovering over the eye in the right top corner, that templates and/or images are not approved, but I can't find these templates or images. -- fr.gr. The database and images were not very consistent on stage. Just now, I took a snapshot of the production English database and uploaded files, applied them to stage, and re-ran the update. So the staging English wiki should now be consistent. Aside from a couple of minor theme issues, it looks pretty good. Here is what I see so far: - "Distribution" overruns the border on the front page - Broken link at the bottom of the front page, maybe a template issue Matt

Never mind about the issues I mentioned above. They were old objects stored in memcached, and they went away when I restarted the daemon. -Matt

The bento print.css is not included, even if it should be according to the PHP code (skins/bento.php). After some digging in the code (including various false trails), I finally found out that this is because bento.php != bentofluid.php :-/ and indeed, with the bento (fixed width) skin print output looks as expected (menu hidden etc.) This means we need to add print.css also to bentofluid.php. I just pushed this to git - can you please re-deploy on stage? BTW: On the long term, we probably should "convert" the <head> section in BentoTemplate->execute() to $out->addStyle and $out->addScriptFile, and then use $this->html( 'headelement' ); like it is done in the upstream templates. This is some work, but makes maintenance easier. http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:OutputPage.php (incomplete) and http://svn.wikimedia.org/doc/classOutputPage.html might be useful when doing this.
