[opensuse-web] GSoC Adapt bento theme to bootstrap
Hi there, I'm Paraskevas, and I am a student participating in GSoC. I have submitted a proposal about the implementation of the project concerning the adaptation of the bento theme to bootstrap. I thought I'd let you know about it since it is directly relevant with the developement of the website, so here is a link to my application form: https://google-melange.appspot.com/gsoc/proposal/review/google/gsoc2013/pari... Any comments/feedback are most welcome! :) Greedings, Paraskevas Lagakis -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-web+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-web+owner@opensuse.org

In fact, I'm already developing a bento theme for bootstrap (and it's done at least in a 70%) as part of the development of the new travel support program application. You can check it here: https://github.com/openSUSE/travel-support-program/tree/opensuse/app/assets/... and here: https://github.com/openSUSE/travel-support-program/tree/opensuse/app/assets/... And you can see it in action at https://connect.opensuse.org/travel-support It's a 100% bootstrap application with responsive layout and no openSUSE / bento specific html markup at all. Cheers. -- Ancor González Sosa openSUSE Team at Suse Linux GmbH -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-web+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-web+owner@opensuse.org

Nice job, it's great that someone has already started working on that! :) The idea for the project I'm interested in, is a bit different though, in the sense that it aims to unify the UIs of all the web pages using bootstrap, so it will probably require the redisign of some views of the website (ideally, some changes could be done to the homepage too). Hopefully, it will not just be the exchange of the classes of selectors from bento to bootstrap, but will offer a bit more.
