Hi,
there's a problem with some web sites:
openSUSE wiki - MediaWiki at en.opensuse.org returns: """ This wiki has a problem
Sorry! This site is experiencing technical difficulties. Try waiting a few minutes and reloading. (Cannot contact the database server: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'mysql_prod.provo.novell.com' (4) (mysql_prod.provo.novell.com:3307)) """
lizards.opensuse.org: Error establishing a database connection
news.opensuse.org: """ Bad Gateway!
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server. The proxy server could not handle the request GET /. Reason: Error reading from remote server """

Hello,
I have learned that a network switch has failed, and it is affecting our MySQL servers. The network team and data center are working on restoring this service. I have not been provided an ETA yet, but I will let you know when I receive more information.
We have a planned upgrade for the OpenSUSE wikis later today, but this will likely be rescheduled due to this issue.
Thank you, Matt

Do you have a new date for the wiki update?
(I assume it didn't take two weeks to replace the broken switch ;-)

No, the switch was replaced later that morning, but then we had to work around other planned maintenance, etc. I believe that it is being planned for early this week, so stay tuned :-)
