[opensuse-web] Fast Logout in iChain
Hello Mates, ATM i'm logging me in on starting day on iChain. But the automatic Logout is to fast. Hi Sascha- The auth timeout for the opensuse.org wiki and build sites is 8 hours. The opensuse.org forums site is 1 hour. Which site(s) are you hitting? I will look into the possibility of changing the forums site to match. Matt Matt Magleby Novell IS&T

Hmmm, that's strange. Working on the Wiki, I'm actually feeling much shorter than 8 hours to log out automatically. Sometimes it seems 2 - 3 hours or much shorter. Which is the starting point, last login or last operation ? The Novell Login auth timeout comes into play after 8 hours of inactivity. So I am surprised you are seeing it at all on the wiki. Are you visiting other novell.com or opensuse.org sites in between? I'm wondering if something could be stomping on the auth cookie... Matt

This is my problem. I jump to many different openSUSE/Novell related sites/pages and I get logged out or havt to login. When I do login again when the site requires, I loose the previous site auth and I then have to login again on that site. Very few of the hosts/sites are connected but all require the iChain login. For example. I am on the wiki. I need to go to the OBS, then to api.opensuse.org or software.opensuse.org or some other site. I loose my wiki login and I have to login again. Maybe this is what is happeniing for the OP.
