[opensuse-web] Results of the landing page BoF
Hey, here are the results of the landing page BoF we just held at osc12. Participants were Christian, Tom, Gábor and me. We compared our own landing page (www.opensuse.org) with a lot of "competitors" pages, talked about the content we would like to see on it and came up with a first idea of what and how. I took some notes on https://trello.com/board/landing-page/50850ac9fe4ddd101b003b04 The next step is comming up with a first prototype and agree on which technology to use. Everybody is more than welcome to help :-) Henne -- Henne Vogelsang http://www.opensuse.org Everybody has a plan, until they get hit. - Mike Tyson -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-web+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-web+owner@opensuse.org

Since it was me and Robert Lihm who implemented the current frontpage back in 2008 during Hack Week III, I would love to contribute to a new one. Andreas -- http://www.andreas-demmer.de

Cool, I was hoping for people to step up! Consider yourself part of the project then :) Henne -- Henne Vogelsang http://www.opensuse.org Everybody has a plan, until they get hit. - Mike Tyson -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-web+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-web+owner@opensuse.org

I'm excited to see how it comes out. As a noob to openSUSE communities I didn't want to go throwing a lot of "I think this and I think that" around, but I'm excited that others have also noticed and decided that the .org landing could user a "refresher". -- God bless !
