To reproduce: load https://paste.opensuse.org/54659352
Not the first time, may have started after upgrading SM from 2.49.3 to 2.49.4.
No such problem in FF ESR52 (without NoScript).
The full reproducer is (independent of the browser you use): 0. make sure your browser accepts cookies 1. visit news.opensuse.org or lizards.opensuse.org 2. visit paste.opensuse.org
Whatever might be needed in the NS menu to avoid this is totally non-obvious.
This is a known issue with paste.o.o which I already explained on https://status.opensuse.org/ paste.opensuse.org is currently down. Workaround: use susepaste.org. For existing links to paste.opensuse.org, replacing the domain with susepaste.org will work and give you the pasted content. UPDATE: It turned out that news.opensuse.org and lizards.opensuse.org send out cookies with a cookie domain of "*.opensuse.org", and one of these cookies breaks paste.opensuse.org. We'll restrict the cookie domain, but until this is done, you can delete your news.opensuse.org cookies to "fix" paste.opensuse.org. Note that this will only last until you visit news.opensuse.org again (until we have fixed the cookie domain there). Another workaround is to open links to paste.o.o in a new private browser window (which doesn't have the news.o.o cookies). Experience shows that it often takes some days to get fixes deployed on the news.o.o server. I'll keep status.opensuse.org updated when this issue is fixed. BTW: I have no idea why paste.o.o checks cookies that are irrelevant for it, I only know it does. Oh, and I've seen similar checks/errors in other software. Regards, Christian Boltz PS: I know this is somehow related to opensuse-web because it affect a website ;-) Nevertheless, it's more an infrastructure issue, which means you should better report such things to admin@opensuse.org (our ticket system) in the future. -- "The day Microsoft makes something that doesn't suck is probably the day they start making vacuum cleaners."
