[opensuse-virtual] Naming the virtual interface?
I've been googling a lot looking for how to use the vifname parameter to give me pre-defined interface names - there seems to be many hits discussing whether or not it is supported, but it is certainly tested in /etc/xen/scripts/vif-common.sh. I've got a vif entry with "vifname=guest112.0", but this appears to be just ignored. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (2.2°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-virtual+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-virtual+owner@opensuse.org

Forgot to mention that is is of course all xen-related. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (3.3°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-virtual+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-virtual+owner@opensuse.org

I assume you are using the xl/libxl toolstack? I see the same with it, but noticed vifname is honoured when using xm/xend toolstack. Can you enter a bug please? Yes, I'm fairly new to xen, so I figured I'd use the latest tools.
