[opensuse-virtual] Xen: xm new --> xl ??
Hello, i noticed in SLES 12.1 that xl does not have a „xl new“ command any more. I was heavily using „xm new“ with plain text configs. „virsh define“ only works with xml files. Is there any way to add a domain and not start it from a plain text config? Regards, NormanNry隊Z)z{.ۚ맲rz^ˬzN(֜^ ޭ隊Z)z{.ۚ0Ǩ

What do you expect from 'xl new', where is the domain supposed to be? xend knew about VMs, libvirt knows about VMs. xl does not have such concept. virsh has a command to convert domU.cfg into xml. Hello, i expect it to work like „xm new“ did, adding a domain to xend but not start it. Norman

There is no xend anymore. A replacement with a similar concept is libvirt. Olaf -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-virtual+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-virtual+owner@opensuse.org
