How can one test it? I did not find any download for 10.3 beta 1, just the KDE/Gnome CD/DVD.
There are livecds here http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/10.3-Beta1/iso/cd/ I am not 100% certain these contain the live installer, try it and see.
They do contain it but not in a prominent place.
