[uyuni-users] hardware refresh/applying default states broken with 2020.04
Moin, I am currently playing with 2020.04 and registered a bunch of Ubuntu 18 Clients. Hardware refresh and applying the default states doesn't seem to be working from uyuni. This is what I get: 2020-04-30 09:17:20,334 [salt-event-thread-4] ERROR com.suse.manager.reactor.PGEventListener - Unexpected exception while executing a MessageAction java.lang.NullPointerException (full error log attached) Running the salt states on the CLI (hardware.profileupdate etc) is working fine, so the issue really is when communicating back to uyuni. Any idea? Also, I have another issue. The state package.disablelocalrepos shows changes for all enabled repos, but it only disables the ones in /etc/apt/sources.list.d, the ones in /etc/apt/sources.list are not disabled, even though the state says it should have been done. Thanks Stefan
Applying default states now works suddenly. Hardware refresh still fails. But the package profile update is also broken, but this time, even the saltstate fails with ---------- ID: packages Function: module.run Name: pkg.info_installed Result: False Comment: Module function pkg.info_installed threw an exception. Sorry for the noise. Ubuntu for some weird reason installed 2017 salt packages even though during bootstrap the most recent ones were avaiable through the uyuni tools channel. Cheers- Stefan
