[uyuni-users] openSUSE 42.3 repo setup within wizard
Just getting started. I skipped the SCC credentials as I didn't have anything I wished to test against the SUSE SLE* repos (I do that with SUMA). Which brings up the question, how does one setup uyuni to mirror the openSUSE repos? I'd like to mirror then then bootstrap a few test boxes to play with. -Steve -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: uyuni-users+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: uyuni-users+owner@opensuse.org
Hi, You need to create channels, repositories, activation keys, etc. For the demos I use spacecmd to do it quickly, see attached file (and adapt as needed). It is just an example, so maybe you would like another setup, but at least you can use it for refeference. You can, of course, do it from the WebUI as well. The steps would be similar. Best regards. This appeared to work (no errors reported), but the repository doesn't show up in the UI as a valid channel under the wizard, SUSE Products tab. Is there something further that I'd need to do? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: uyuni-users+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: uyuni-users+owner@opensuse.org

I should have been more clear, the channels show up, I was just surprised to not see it as a SUSE product. I was able to get a sync running on the repo and will continue to plan and learn more about the product as I'm reading the getting started guide. That's right. SUSE Products or Vendor Products come from the official CDN which provide "Enterprise Products" . To see products there you need SLES subscriptions and a SCC account. -- Regards Michael Calmer -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Michael Calmer SUSE LINUX GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, D-90409 Nuernberg T: +49 (0) 911 74053 0 F: +49 (0) 911 74053575 - e-mail: Michael.Calmer@suse.com -------------------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE Linux GmbH, GF: Felix Imendörffer, Jane Smithard, Graham Norton, HRB 21284 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: uyuni-users+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: uyuni-users+owner@opensuse.org
