VERY IMPORTANT: 2023.03 may require a special procedure if you are not upgrading from 2023.01 Make sure you read the release notes for all the versions between the one you are using now, and 2023.03! We are happy to announce the availability of Uyuni 2023.03. Most openSUSE mirrors should already have 2023.03, but if you do not see it yet, wait a few hours until your local openSUSE mirror is synced. At https://www.uyuni-project.org/pages/stable-version.html you will find all the resources you need to start working with Uyuni 2023.03, including the release notes, documentation, requirements and setup instructions. I'm seeing the notifications page, so perhaps that just needs a browser cache flush, or maybe it's browser specific? However, I am also seeing the Channel sync failures on the Uyuni client repo syncs. Since upgrade from 2023.01 to 2023.3, the notification page is a blank white page - no header, no entries.
We located the problem and will release a patch soon. This problem affects only people using SCC accounts and with subscriptions that are going to expire or expired recently. Stay tuned for the announcement :-)

Thanks, Julio and the rest of the team. Just some feedback from here after upgrading, possibly more useful to other Centos users. Uyuni minimum upgrade process very smooth, no errors, and everything appears to continue to work okay. Remember to CTRL+F5 the web client to prevent render problems. I was a little concerned about this in the release notes
- Salt 3000 End of Life
It wasn't sure from the wording whether this meant those clients would continue working with Uyuni with v.3000 or stop entirely. After spending some time ensuring I could convert the 80-odd Centos 7 vms I run under Uyuni to venv-salt-minion, should that be needed, I'm pleased to report for any other users similarly unclear, that these clients appear to be as happy as they were before the Uyuni upgrade. Remote commands work as they did and probably other things. And in the spirit of sharing, here's my process for converting C7 clients to venv-salt-minion if it is ever needed. What kind of render problems? I remember the UI team added a way to force the refreshing the cache after applying a release, so that should still be working. Maybe you can open an issue for this?

Should work for the forseable future, but there won't be any fixes if something is broken, so the recommendation is to migrate to the bundle :-)

Uyuni minimum upgrade process very smooth, no errors, and everything appears to continue to work okay. Remember to CTRL+F5 the web client to prevent render problems.
What kind of render problems? I remember the UI team added a way to force the refreshing the cache after applying a release, so that should still be working. Maybe you can open an issue for this?
It's just that without refreshing the browser, I have previously experienced strange behaviour when continuing to navigate Uyuni's web interface, including empty pages and timeouts. I don't consider that unusual or a bug and not worthy of raising an issue when it's so easily remedied on the clientside, and not uncommon when upgrading web based software where the client might cache components of a page. CTRL+F5 on the browser just makes sure the client is loading what's on there now.
- Salt 3000 End of Life Should work for the forseable future, but there won't be any fixes if something is broken, so the recommendation is to migrate to the bundle :-)

And in the spirit of sharing, here's my process for converting C7 clients to venv-salt-minion if it is ever needed. (No warrantee implied, may not work for you, etc etc)
