uyuni hostnames

The following situation. I want to bootstrap a server with an underscore in his hostname. The host can not by found, but this must be wrong. Nslookup, ssh connects to this host are possible. Is this a bug, or why can I not use underscores in hostnames? Kind regards, Peter
