OK, thanks. I had tried to Google for that string and hadn't found that issue. My takeaway from this thread is that the next time I run into some issues like this I should search the github issues list explicitly. Thank you for your time in responding. -----Original Message----- From: Julio Gonzalez <jgonzalez@suse.com> Sent: Monday, June 13, 2022 3:35 AM To: General discussion related to the openSUSE Uyuni project <users@lists.uyuni-project.org> Cc: Abid Mehmood <amehmood@suse.com>; Paul-Andre Panon <ppanon@sierrawireless.com>; Paul-Andre Panon via Uyuni Users <users@lists.uyuni-project.org> Subject: Re: Uyuni support for Ubuntu 22.04? In addition to all the changes in that PR, have you actually tried to import packages from Ubuntu 22.04 into Uyuni? When I did so with Uyuni 2022.05, only ~4/10 of the packages appeared to import. It looked like the issue may have been with the python3-debian package, although I suppose if you're working on openSUSE 15.4, the newer version of that package might not have the same issue.

Yes, that's a known issue: https://github.com/uyuni-project/uyuni/issues/5490 We are already tring to fix for the SUSE:SLE codestreams (as that package comes from there).

Hi Paul-Andre,
It is on our radar. There is already some ongoing work from community on this https://can01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgithub.co m%2Fuyuni-project%2Fuyuni%2Fpull%2F5543&data=05%7C01%7Cppanon%40sierrawi reless.com%7C1c740d85f5fb49583ece08da4d154052%7C08059a4c248643dd89e33a747e0d cbe8%7C0%7C0%7C637907050940313786%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMD AiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=O SVOOi8VWhGGzSHMnT373qpeiFQIIagxPMOTedmCstA%3D&reserved=0 and we will take care of the remaining missing bits rather soon.
Best regards,

Hi,
Any idea when we can expect Uyuni client packages for Ubuntu 22.04? Has there been sufficiently few changes to the apt interfaces that the Ubuntu 20.04 packages can still be used?
Thanks,
Paul-Andre
