Yes, that's it. I dismissed the checkbox because "Configuration File Deployment:" didn't seem to be what I was looking for. Now it seems obvious. Thank you. Hi
I have state channels I would like to assign and apply to any new system that registers with Uyuni.
Adding the state channels to the activation key is not enough. The state channels will be assigned, however they will not be automatically applied.
As a workaround I added this to the boostrap.sh: sleep 60 && salt-call state.apply &
Is there a more elegant way to achieve this?
There is a checkbox on the activation key details page saying to deploy the configuration channels. This must be checked to execute a highstate on bootstrapping. AFAIK this checkbox is only visible after you saved the activation key for the first time. -- Regards Michael Calmer -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Michael Calmer SUSE Software Solutions Germany GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, D-90409 Nuernberg T: +49 (0) 911 74053 0 F: +49 (0) 911 74053575 - e-mail: Michael.Calmer@suse.com -------------------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE Software Solutions Germany GmbH, GF: Felix Imendörffer (HRB 36809, AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: uyuni-users+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: uyuni-users+owner@opensuse.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: uyuni-users+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: uyuni-users+owner@opensuse.org
