Forgive me if this has been asked here recently but I have searched the archives only to come up with one reference that dates back to 7.3. I am trying to do a clean install over a 7.3 machine with a scsi raid system and scsi cdrom. The cd's won't boot in the scsi cdrom 1 or 2 so I created the boot floppy and modules 1-4 disks. It comes up fine where it asks what I want to do I choose installation and it loads the kernel 50% and then asks for the modules 1 disk and that goes fine then it pops over to the console looking screen and a bunch of stuff flashes by and then it says starting hardware detection... then searching for infofile .... and hangs there. I have tried this with installation, installation no acpi and installation safe settings and it all does the same thing. Any ideas? Rob
