Hi,
I wonder if there is a possibility to show the contents of a right mouse menu with KSnapshot? Now the menu disappears when you take the shot.
thnx.

Maybe you have to set a delay of a few seconds.

yes... problem is that, for me, this only works with an area which i can not define. A rectangular area, which has to be formed, does take the snapshot immediately, without delay. Unless this is a bug of course...

(Sorry about the PM! Once in a while I hit the wrong button.)
1. start KSnapshot, 2. set a delay, 3. hit "make a new screenshot", 4. right-click for the needed context menu, 5. draw the area you want, 6. hit Enter. I hope it works for you too.

Yes, this did work. Had to try a few times, but i can manage. Thank you. Problem was that when hitting left pad button, menu disappeared. Waiting until the cross appeared and moving it a little, before hitting left pad did the trick. Over here that is.

Use The Gimp, delayed shot. You trigger it, navigate to the menu, and then wait there till it fires.

Dunno, I don't use kde much these days. Plust you get the chance to edit the file directly, choose compression ratio... etc.
