I'm just curious (actually I'm still plotting that long awaited upgrade), has anybody used a nForce2 based board yet? How does it work under linux? If not, what are the nForce (1) stuff like? And the drivers? Is it also just binary drivers, or does the linux kernel support any of the hardware natively? Searching google only gave me pages that happens to have the words linux and nForce2 on the same page, but nothing related. What distrubs me is that for the faster Athlons, AMD only has VIA based boards listed as recommended on their site. What about the other chipsets? The AMD 761 should be able to run all the 266mhz FSB models, shouldn't it? I saw the Asus A7N8X board based on nForce2 on Tomshardware, and it looks damn good, certainly one I would consider, expecially since it has dual channel ram...
