[opensuse] Can KDE4 not interface with hylafax like kde3 did?
Guys, I went to look up the changes to configure a faxprinter in kde4 and I don't seem to be able to find the info. The old page was: http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Setting_up_a_Fax_Printer_with_Hylafax Now that page is just blank. The kde3 procedure that used to be there was pretty simple. It was: Setting up a Fax Printer in KDE To set up a fax printer in KDE, proceed as follows: * Press Alt + F2 and enter kdeprintfax in the opened dialog * Confirm by clicking "Run" * In the menu, select "Settings" -> "Configure Kdeprintfax" * Click the "System" icon * Select "Use HylaFAX system" * An entry should be already displayed in the lower field. If there is not such an entry, insert: /usr/bin/sendfax -n -h %server %res -d %name@%number -x %enterprise -c %comment -f %email %files * Click "OK" * Select "File" -> "Quit" I expected to find at least a bit of updated information so I could get my fax server working with kde4 -- but instead I find NO information. Have these pages moved somewhere else? Anybody got a link to a good kde4/fax printer page? Thanks. -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. David, The old wiki info is still online, but the prefixed the hostname with "old-" So checkout: http://old-en.opensuse.org/SDB:Setting_up_a_Fax_Printer_with_Hylafax Once your on the old-en server, you can search etc. and it all works. I'm rather surprised they (we) don't have a link to the old server in bold flaming letters on the new wiki search page.
