[opensuse] Can't Use Shutter on openSUSE KDE
Hi, I started using openSUSE 12.1 a few days ago (wrote a review here: http://www.muktware.com/articles/3036). I want to use Shutter for screenshots but its not working clicking on it doesn't do anything. When I run from Konsole, that's what I get: muktware@linux-nam3:~> shutter Can't locate Sort/Naturally.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/share/shutter/resources/modules /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.14.2/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.14.2 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.14.2/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.14.2 /usr/lib/perl5/5.14.2/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/5.14.2 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl .) at /usr/bin/shutter line 123. -- <b>Swapnil Bhartiya</b><br> Editor: Muktware.com<br> Skype: No Way...its non-free. Seems to be a known problem: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=722266 If you look here: http://shutter-project.org/2011/11/shutter-0-88-released/ you can see that the bug was fixed in the very recent 0.88 release. See also: http://mqbrokeraccess.appspot.com/bazaar.launchpad.net/~mario-kemper/shutter... So... update to 0.88 when it lands in the repositories (you could add a comment to the openSUSE bug report letting the owner know it's been fixed in the 0.88 release), or update manually from the source. You are missing the sort-naturally module for perl. I believe the package name is perl-Sort-Naturally. Charles -- "Are [Linux users] lemmings collectively jumping off of the cliff of reliable, well-engineered commercial software?" (By Matt Welsh)

If that's the case some dependency in the package might be broken (missing "Requires: perl-Sort-Naturally"). Plesase ensure to track the issue inside bugzilla. Thanks. Lars -- Lars Müller [ˈlaː(r)z ˈmʏlɐ] Samba Team SUSE Linux, Maxfeldstraße 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany
