Assuming this will work, I tried /etc/suseppp/ppp-up, and it did not work. I even tried to use /etc/ppp/ip-up.

Suse Tech Support (Bodo) advised me to use the following a couple of weeks ago when I had a similar prob: /etc/suseppp/scripts/ppp-up <provider> and /etc/suseppp/scripts/ppp-down Note: <provider> is "generic" in my case.
