I'm trying to use Samba to serve a filesystem to some OS-X machines. The basic connection works, but a lot of the files I'm trying to migrate have a "*" in the filename. Linux obviously supports that if you handle it correctly. Is there someway in Samba to make it work? Thanks Greg -- Greg Freemyer

Don't know, will try it out...... Maybe a odd question but why not use NFS ??????
Can anyone tell the secret to getting Evolution 1.3+ to work? I've tried packages from Ximian and the usr/local/bin website but can't get them to come up. They install fine and all dependencies are met yet they simply won't start. I've clicked on the file name(s) to no avail as the menu item (leftover from version 1.2.3) no longer works either. Any insight is appreciated! -- Zach Linux--Doing to Microsoft what the DOJ couldn't.
