Hi, I have been trying to get the simplest little script to run and encounter the ineviatble script headers problem. So far I have opened up permissions on the file and directories wide open - no help, set error level on apache to debug and got a load or errors from mod gzip, I commented out mod gzip (no difference). The script runs fine from command line. Can anyone suggest what blindingly obvious stupid thing I may be missing. Have an otherwise stock installation of apache from 7.1 apart from enabling cgi from home (script test is being carried out under standard cgi bin not from under home). Herewith script (from llama book) #!/usr/bin/perl -w # print "Content-type: text/html\n\n"; print <<"the_doc"; <html> <head><title>Ice cream</title></head> <body>Ice cream text </body> </html> the_doc Many thanks Francesco
