Email Server II limiting name length
Hi, Email Server II seems to be enforcing some rule that email names can't be longer than 8 characters. Anyone else seeing this? I'm trying to convert an existing set of users from Exchange Server to Email Server II and asking folks to change their existing addresses is not an attractive solution. Does anyone know how to get around this? (I'm pretty sure it's not a postfix limitation...) Mark

That is absolutely not a default postfix limitation, but possibly it's an optional postfix setting turned on. Grep for "8" in your /etc/postfix/main.cf or actuall do this: [root@csc003 postfix]# grep -r "8" /etc/postfix/ ---------------------------------------------------- Jonathan Wilson System Administrator Cedar Creek Software http://www.cedarcreeksoftware.com Central Texas IT http://www.centraltexasit.com
