Re[2]: [S.u.S.E. Linux] Running SuSE Linux
I liked the way that most stock SuSE applications installed an icon. Too bad you can't do that with Netscape and thus must leave its icon and menu item there all the time. Any idea when you can make a deal with Netscape to include Netscape?
The Netscpae Icon should only appear when netscape is installed...?!
No, the Netscape icon appears if /usr/X11R6/bin/Netscape is installed, which reads: trap "" 31 prog="" if [ -x /opt/netscape/netscape ] ; then prog="/opt/netscape/netscape" else prog="$prog $(type -p netscape)" prog="$prog $(type -p netscape_301)" prog="$prog $(type -p netscape_303)" prog="$prog $(type -p Mosaic)" prog="$prog $(type -p mosaic)" prog="$prog $(type -p arena)" prog="$prog $(type -p amaya)" fi whatever browser is available will be started. So once netscape is installed, it can be started by icon, otherwise arena will appear. sincerly, Rolf Haberrecker ##################################################################### # Rolf Haberrecker, M.A. S.u.S.E.
