Thanks to all,
luciano.
A quick Google turned up this site: http://fr.rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=libc.so.5&system=&arch= Just search for Suse RPM's and select the best match for your system. Someone with more tech knowledge may be able to add to this info. -- ED --

Just search for Suse RPM's and select the best match for your system. I've not found any rpms for suse. BTW, maaaany thanks for your hint: I did install the mandrake one which depends on ld.so1 (which I installed too) and now my very old informix binary works just fine on my new SuSe 10! Wow!
Thanks again, luciano. -- /"\ /Via A. Salaino, 7 - 20144 Milano (Italy) \ / ASCII RIBBON CAMPAIGN / PHONE : +39 2 485781 FAX: +39 2 48578250 X AGAINST HTML MAIL / E-MAIL: posthamster@sublink.sublink.ORG / \ AND POSTINGS / WWW: http://www.mannucci.ORG/
