Helge, Any particular reason why the SCSI CD is ID=0? Usually, I have seen CD set to 5 or 6. Have you tried changing IDs and see if alleviates your problem?
The reason I set CD to 0 is because I once upon a time tried to make my CD bootable... I read somewhere that the Tekram controller would like the boot devices to be 0 or 1. Since I never got it to work, I guess I could try changing the ID... Anyway, why did I encounter this problem with post-2.0.27 kernels? When I ran that I never had SCSI problems...
