[opensuse] Replacing o2cb with heartbeat2+pacemaker?
Hi, I've read somewhere that probably is a good idea to let heartbeat/pacemaker manage the cluster membership for OCFS2 instead of using o2cb, has anybody done it?, is that a good decision at last? yes, but you need a number of kernel patches which aren't upstream and only the SLES10 kernels include them (that I know of). I believe the patches were sent to the ocfs2 mailing list if you need to find them.

its a good idea so that heartbeat and ocfs2 have a consistent view of the cluster (ie. which nodes are up/down) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I hope the patches are accepted upstream so it turns in a standard use case. Luckily i'll be using SLES10SP1 for this setup, is there any documentation (notes, diagrams, etc)?
