10.0 OSS -> Novell / Commercial Upgrade Feasible?
Hi, If I'm impatient about getting started with SuSE Linux 10.0, can I install the OSS version when it's released on the 6th and then, when my Novell commercial package arrives, smoothly, easily and reliably upgrade with those non-OSS packages I want to use? Randall Schulz

Yes, that should work. Just change the installation sources in YaST - that's it. Note: The OSS and the retail version are binary-identical. Regards Christoph

Hmm, sounds great! No more 'there is more software on the DVD then on 5 CDs' "Schnickschnak"? MP3 for all - out of the box? Just wandering ... Peter

Ooops, you got me wrong ... been a 'now and then suse buyer' for a long time now, smart manuals, inst support never needed. I was referring a) to the fact, that the former 1-n CDs didn't provide the the full amount of software published on the single DVD and ... b) to the rumors about native MP3 support without having to contact packmann et al cu, Peter
I believe there is also support for laptops with centrino wireless chipsets
on them, hence the reason I think I'm buying it.
Is there a definitive list of differences?
