Re: [SLE] Tiny fonts again - More info
If you want to force your dpi setting, open /etc/opt/kde3/share/config/kdm/kdmrc. Under [X-:*-Core], you'll find the followings: ServerArgsLocal=-nolisten tcp ServerCmd=/usr/X11R6/bin/X -br Append your dpi setting there, it'll look like these: ServerArgsLocal=-nolisten tcp -dpi 96 ServerCmd=/usr/X11R6/bin/X -br -dpi 96 Regards, Verdi -- Weitersagen: GMX DSL-Flatrates mit Tempo-Garantie! Verdi, Thanks for the info. I tried what you suggested and it did change the dpi settings drastically. However, it did not significantly change the font size in Gimp, GQView, etc. I still have my tiny fonts. Thanks for trying to help. I have learned a great deal about resolution and dpi settings but still have my problem. Bob S.
