Guys, On my i586 11.2 box I was working in gnome and evidently one of the apps hung. (I don't know which one). When I logged out (dropping back to runlevel 3), the folowing was wating for me on the command line: "Uhh, too many forks, PID got refused, were confused at 24191 hald-runner 1280 fork -513" What is this? Has anyone every encountered one before? I rebooted and the box is working fine. I was just left scratching my head. It is almost as good as the Akonadi Self- Test, Test 14 error "Control process died, committing suicide!" Gotta love those error messages :p -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
