One way to solve this is in the setup of the printer itself, on the printer (check the manual for the printer), let LF= CR + LF or something like that, I had to do this for my deskjet 500 compatible printer a long time ago so it's a bit foggy in my mind. I remember though printing through windows still worked ok when the printer was in this mode. Actually, now that we're on this subject, I don't know why DOS file don't get rid of the CR since it takes up extra space. But that has got to do with some long history I guess. -- Lou A.
