Hello, the "standard" printing-howto should tell you about it. There is a section that describes how to use other unix machines printers. your printer must have an assigned IP number. The printserver board or whatever you call it must have ports. i.e. I use a HP-Jet-direct car for my HP-XL300 at work. the IP is assigned to 10.200.128.53 (or whatever). the card has two devices: text and raw. I made an entry in /etc/printcap: netprinter|xl300|lp3:\ :rp=raw:\ :rm=10.200.128.53:\ :sd=/var/spool/lpd/PS_300dpi-a4-ascii-mono-300: the devices explain the way data is treated: raw = no terament, in=out, text converts CR/LF codes. This example entry is from memory, can't proof it's right from here. yast offers setup of network printers as well, but i never looked into that.
