[opensuse] where are plasma5 shortcuts
Hello :-) on my kde plasma 5 (42.3), I can drag an executable of any application from Dolphin and get an icon that I can click to open the app. look at this screen copy: https://www.cjoint.com/doc/18_05/HEupzy0EQwh_Screenshot-20180520-172415.png but afterward, I can't figure where is the linked application. a right click only allow to add a keyboard shortcut. As you can see, the plasma desktop is *not* the usual desktop. The usual one, ~/Desktop, is the clear rectangle with "download" in it, what I look for are the icons under (vuescan, jddlibreoffice...) where are stored these "icons"? how can I guess where is the linked app? thanks jdd -- http://dodin.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

what does the file which appears on the desktop contain? I usually create a <app>.desktop file to make a desktop "shortcut" to initiate an application. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

it's exactly what I want to know :-( to create them, I simply drag the application file from Dolphin to the desktop. It appears to be a plasmoid, as when I keep clicking on it it opens the right vertical bar with resize and properties, but the properties are only keyboard shortcut choice thanks jdd -- http://dodin.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
