[opensuse] Empty Blank in Acrobat Reader
Hello Mates, i've downloaded and blank (PDF) from an Site and started this with acroread. Then i've enabled the highlighting, and i filled out the blank. If i go to "Print", the Printer gives me an empty Blank. Is this an feature? Can anyone confirm this or have an solution? -- Sincereley yours Sascha Manns openSUSE Marketing Team openSUSE Build Service openSUSE Features Screening Team Web: http://saschamanns.gulli.to Project-Blog: http://lizards.opensuse.org/author/saigkill Private-Blog: http://saschasbacktrace.blogspot.com

I assume by "blank" you mean a form. I used Adobe Reader to fill out my tax forms with no trouble. Try saving the filled-in form first, then print the resulting PDF. Adobe Reader says me: "Data typed into this form will not be saved. Adobe Reader can only save a blank copy of this form". The next Part is: "Please print your completed form if you would like a copy for your records". If i klick on "Print Form". I'm getting an empty form. I've attached my file. Can you test please, if this run on your Computer?

Okular shows that this form is empty. I filled some positions in Okular and printed it to .pdf. Printed .pdf contains all information I typed in previous form. I can't test it in Adobe Reader - just I don't use it. Apparently that file is specifically crafted not to be savable. But I filled in one field and printed it successfully. I did have to dismiss a warning dialog informing me that I would not be able to save the filled-in form, only print it, but after that it worked fine. What version of Adobe Reader are you using? I have 8.1.5 on openSUSE 11.1. Randall Schulz -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
