Tumbleweed - Where are SDL3_image, etc..
Devs, all, Tumbleweed provides the SDL3-devel package but doesn't list any packages for SDL3_image, SDL3_ttf, etc.. I would expect them in the same main TW repo along with SDL3-devel and SDL2-devel, SDL2_image, SDL2_ttf, etc. which are all there. Are the supporting SDL3_xxx packages named something different that I'm just not finding? -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.

Thanks, I'll re-subscribe since the suddenlinkmail.com address account no longer exists. I was hoping to avoid multiple lists again, but I guess it's necessary. -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.

I can't sign-in and subscribe to the factory list as it still has the old suddenlinkmail.com account that no longer exists after my office burned. So that needs to be changed to the same drankinatty at gmail.com like we did for this list. I think Per changed the address for this list (users@lists.opensuse.org), but the e-mails for the announce, factory and packaging subscriptions were never changed. Since to change it sends a confirmation to the old drankinatty@suddenlinkmail.com that no longer exists I need admin help to change those subscriptions -- I'll never get the confirmation. I can sign in, e.g. <quote - after sign-in to https://lists.opensuse.org/accounts/confirm-email/:> Messages: Confirmation email sent to drankinatty@suddenlinkmail.com. Menu: Sign In Sign Up Verify Your Email Address We have sent an email to you for verification. Follow the link provided to finalize the signup process. If you do not see the verification email in your main inbox, check your spam folder. Please contact us if you do not receive the verification email within a few minutes. </quote> But I have no way to get that confirmation anymore.... Help? -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.

In Japan, it was possible to change the address of any mailing list using the fml command 'chaddr'. For foreign mailing lists, I would subscribe with the new address, check that I could receive mail at that address, and then unsubscribe with the old address. Because I need to fix the account. My openSUSE account (where you log in for everything) has that old drankinatty@suddenlinkmail.com e-mail associated with and the openSUSE/SUSE web-UI can't deal with updating the account without trying to send a confirmation mail to the non-existent account -- which means my account remains broken until somebody fixes it -- or fixes the UI so it can send to an alternate e-mail for confirmation. -- David C. I didn't notice at all.
Thanks.
However,
admin@opensuse.org is where you create problems in our ticket system (https://progress.opensuse.org/projects/opensuse-admin/issues).

It actually says: "https://progress.opensuse.org/projects/opensuse-admin/issues is our ticket system - you can create issues there directly after logging in, or by sending an email to admin@opensuse.org." Which I think is self-explanatory, no? If not you'll need to explain more clearly what it is you don't understand. FWIW, drankinatty's email generated the first issue listed at the site, I believe.
In fact, when I click on admin@opensuse.org, the email creation screen opens.
Yes, it should. Why are you apparently surprised?

Educated guess - someone needs to package and maintain them. If you need these packages, you are in the best position to step in.

That's a good possibility. We are seeing if I can get my e-mail straightened out on the packaging and factory lists. I'll check current user files, and if nobody's packaging them, I'll take a stab at it. -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
