[opensuse] Need libcrypto.
Hi all. I'm trying to install APC UPS agent on SLES9 and I'm getting the following dependancy failure: libcrypto.so.4 is needed by apcupsd-3.14.1-1 However, I've looked at all 4 of my CD's and I don't have libcrypto. Can anyone tell me where to get it? TIA, Mike. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

"pin" is your friend, available on your installation media. "pin libcrypto" tells me that openssl-devel contains the file you need. -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Which APC UPS are you using. I had some interesting times with the USB based UPSs and the apcupsd daemon on 9.x ... If remember correctly this was available as an installable RPM on SuSE 9.x Professional edition. A bit limited though compared to the 10.x version... -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with SUSE - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGbmGsasN0sSnLmgIRAiJDAKC8TjqRuw+lbhPHDV07VDWeHdZvFACg98B1 QDH4sc7DufxoBK6WoW7325Q= =iPio -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
