Look in the archives for march 8th, search for Clayton. He provided info for other repositories. http://lists.suse.com/archive/suse-linux-e/2005-Mar/ -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989, linux since 1994, SuSE since 1998 * Only reply to the list please* "The day Microsoft makes something that doesn't suck is probably the day they start making vacuum cleaners." -Ernst Jan Plugge

Hi Ken. That does mean, as I have read it, that there's no URL's to repositories. The URL to the OPEN-CARPET does not open. Erik

Did you look at the email from Clayton at about 21:47? Or only look at the first one that came up and then give up. -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989, linux since 1994, SuSE since 1998 * Only reply to the list please* "The day Microsoft makes something that doesn't suck is probably the day they start making vacuum cleaners." -Ernst Jan Plugge

Hi Ken. I looked a bit further down the lines, but not enough. I found the place now, and RC works fine now. Thanks for comming back to me :-) Erik

snip. Now I have tried to update with red-carpet. Close Red-Carpet and first use YaST to resolve dependencies for any already installed packages. Keep in mind that the use of RC will install packages that are -not- blessed by SuSE, meaning that they -may- break your system (YMMV). Use at your own risk. -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989, linux since 1994, SuSE since 1998 * Only reply to the list please* "The day Microsoft makes something that doesn't suck is probably the day they start making vacuum cleaners." -Ernst Jan Plugge

Ok, I tried to do it first with You, but had failure: Signature check for patch info files failed. Cannot load patch information. Patch: konversation-52003 That was what I received, and I tried more of the other mirrors.
