Hi I would like to save my old emails in a similar structure to the current, so that I have email from 2002 in a shadow archive, so to speak. Any simple way to do that? -- Kaare Rasmussen --Linux, spil,-- Tlf: 3816 2582 Kaki Data tshirts, merchandize Fax: 3816 2501 Howitzvej 75 Åben 12.00-18.00 Email: kar@kakidata.dk 2000 Frederiksberg Lørdag 12.00-16.00 Web: www.suse.dk

You could copy the "~/Mail/*" complete somewhere else, as is, and it would work. Then create a simlink named "~/Mail/.OldArchive.directory" (for kamil) pointing to wherevever you keep the old mail, and that's that. It could be a compressed cdrom (zisofs/RockRidge)... I wonder if they could be encripted as well :-? -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson
