Suse 9.1: Microphone doesn't work
Hi. With Suse 9.1 on a pentium 4 pc and kernel 2.6.5-7.104-default, I am having trouble getting my mike to work (krecorder, skype). I am using SB Audigy 2 (configured in yast2), and it works well under Win XP on the same pc. The speakers work fine in Linux too. I turned up the mike volume in kmix. Blank screen under kmix input. Try the following in KAMix: 1. Goto 'CAPTURE' tab (at the top). 2. KAMix will show 'MIX' in dropdown buttons on the right. Change them to 'MIC'. 3. Change volume with sliders on the left. Rudolf

Yes it is strange, have the same version and tested on different PC's and it works. Rudolf
