Hi I have an IBM x346 server running Suse SLES 9.2 2.6.5-7.139-bigsmp When I reboot by typing init 6 or reboot the shutdown process hangs. The last message on the console is "Please standby whilst system is rebooted" I have checked the /var/log/messages file and the only entry while shutting down is as follows Dec 22 11:19:10 init: Switching to runlevel: 6 Dec 22 11:19:16 sshd[5027]: Received signal 15; terminating. Dec 22 11:19:17 kernel: Kernel logging (proc) stopped. Dec 22 11:19:17 kernel: Kernel log daemon terminating. Dec 22 11:19:18 3 exiting on signal 15 Dec 22 11:26:20 syslogd 1.4.1: restart.
