I'm going to be building a computer and installing S.U.S.E. 5.2 on it. Does it make any difference on what monitor I use, as long as the video card is supported?

Plan to invest in a decent monitor that supports 1024x768 / 1280x1024 @ >= 75Hz refresh rate if you want to use X. I have seen people skimp on monitors and regret it later. Also, suggest buying it retail after getting a chance to see how it performs. If for some reason you don't like it, exchange is easier [shipping charges can be significant with insurance :(] Choose the one that your eyes feel most comfortable with and do not get carried away with tech. specs.
