[SLE] Windows sees Samba printers as "Paused"?
There's a Linux server running at one of my sites which has "suddenly" changed its behaviour according to the on-site admin. The Samba 2.0.6 server has all the printers showing up, and it's possible to print to every printer from Linux. lpc status indicates no problems. There's an smbd attached to every client trying to access a shared printer. lpd works. SMB share works but they don't seem to be talking the same language. Are the winboxes running W2k by any chance? There is a problem with W2k and Samba version 2.06. Upgrading to 2.07 would help in that case. I had problems with a W2k box connecting to my Samba 2.06. I could se all the shares but not access them. After upgrading to Samba 2.07, all my problems went away. TJo -- This Email is 100% Virus Free! How do I know?
